Landis & Gyr 'Solitaire

The Solitare 500 prepaid phone was a unique product produced by Landis & Gyr... It provided a flexible
alternative to coin payphones in residential situations. It was the first prepay domestic phone to use
a magnetic swipe card as the means of call payment. The phone operated on a standard telephone line
and features were the same as any other domestic phone in your home. It was available from UK retailers.
You received a Free £5 phonecard with the purchace of the phone.
